strengths —strategic behavior change, knowledge management, advocacy, capacity
building and research and evaluation — to achieve these goals. We are currently seeking a qualified
candidate for the position of Finance
& Administration Officer in Jakarta.
Project Description: “My Choice” project is a two-and-a-half year
project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It is designed to contribute to the
Government of Indonesia’s family planning goal to increase the nation’s mCPR (modern
Contraceptive Prevalence Rate) by addressing barriers to supply and demand
issues in 11 districts that selected and aligned with the Indonesian government’s
priorities. The project is in the
process of building its team and is looking forward for a team player and
motivated individual to fill this position.
General Position Description: The F&A Officer is
responsible for supporting, coordination and
oversight of finance and administration activities and systems related to the
functioning of the JHUlCCP Indonesia Field Office. This includes compliance, payment,
transfer, expense reconciliation and reporting assistance. Will work with the headquarters team and
in-country personnel to provide the day-to-day problem solving and facilitation
of financial transactions. Will monitor expenditures, preform budget
reconciliation, and make projections based on detailed analysis of fiscal
performance and related financial assumptions.
Maintain documentation to support grant financial transactions and work
to ensure transactions are in compliance with the JHUlCCP policies and regulations.
Assist the Provincial & District teams with compiling financial
report. Identify issues with
procurement, payments, and budgets and directly communicate as required with
supervisor. Develop payment schedules
and monitor receipts of payments from external and internal entities. Work well with others in a team environment
and any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor degree and
five years of related administrative and/or budget experience. Requires
a highly detailed-oriented individual capable of working in a very dynamic and
fast-paced environment; must have the ability to work independently and make
independent and well though-out decisions and recommendations quickly and
accurately; must be able to multi-tasks and prioritize; must be fluent in
written and spoken English, and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office
packages, especially spreadsheet (Excel).
Requires good knowledge of accounting
and payroll principles and record keeping.Experience working with an
INGO is preferable.
