Career Opportunities - USAID funded Clean Energy Project - Indonesian

Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech (USA) dedicated to international development, is recruiting both long term and short term professionals to support a 5-year (2015-2019) USAID-funded clean energy project in Indonesia.

Positions are based in Jakarta, with significant travel throughout Indonesia.

Proficiency in English and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.

The positions are contingent upon an awarded contract.

Full Time positions include:
Deputy Chief of Party: Support the Chief of Party (COP) in day-to-day project management and will lead the project’s effort to strengthen partnerships and coordination with other donor and USG programs. The candidate must have at least ten years of professional experience in clean energy development and hold a master’s degree or a higher degree in environmental management, economics, energy-related engineering, finance, business administration, and other related fields.
 Energy Governance/Regulatory Specialist: Serve as project lead of technical advisory activities under Component 1. Improve Enabling Environment for Rapid Co-Investment in Clean Energy in Indonesia. The candidate must have at least ten years of professional experience in developing and implementing clean energy policy, law and regulation and hold a master’s degree or a higher degree in environmental management, economics, energy-related engineering, finance, business administration, energy policy, and other related fields or a law degree.
Clean Energy Project Development Specialist: Serve as project lead of technical advisory activities under Component 2. Accelerate Mobilization of Private and Public Sector Co-Investment in Clean Energy. The candidate must have at least ten years of professional experience in renewable energy development, project development and implementation, including project financing and hold a master’s degree or higher in engineering, finance, business administration or other related field.
Human Resources Manager: Responsible for overseeing HR policies and procedures in coordination with the Tetra Tech home office Human Resources Manager and Contracts Manager. The candidate must have at least five years of professional experience in human resource management for 15 to 20 employees and hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, administration, management other related field.
Other Long Term Positions: Senior and mid-level professionals with experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and engineering, energy planning and modelling, banking and finance, clean energy policy, low emissions economic development, GIS and spatial analysis, communications, training and institutional capacity building, grants and procurement, office management and accounting.  Senior level candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors or Masters degree.  Mid-level candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and Bachelors degree.
Senior level short term professionals  are also needed with experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency project design, feasibility analysis, and financing, electric utility transmission and distribution engineering, and clean energy transportation
