Plan Indonesia started to operate in Indonesia on 1969. 
 
Due to organizational new structure,  Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:

  1. National Project Manager – Child Protection & Early Childhood Care and Development
  2. National Project Manager – Youth Economic Empowerment  
Responsibilities:
  • Leads the process of developing/ develop implementation plan of all projects with detail activities, operational processes and budget for field level implementation 
  • Ensures development of M&E framework of all projects to support comprehensive and quality monitoring of the project performance at community, partner and country level following corporate guide line of Plan and donor agencies
  • Supports projects managers overcoming operational constrains to ensure smooth implementation and to achieve agreed burn rate of the project budget
  • Establishes quality donor reporting system for grants projects by providing guidance, setting protocols and building capacity of the relevant project staff
  • Establishes organizational leaning from project experience/ evaluation, contribute to the development of project concept paper and assisting in identifying potential funding source to support achieving organizational target for grants income
  • Ensure Plan’s access to the donors’ community and relevant government authorities by representing and advocating Plan’s program/ projects’ objectives; establishing and maintaining networks at national and regional level to support incorporating global standard and learning into the projects
  • Provides basis for development of competent workforces for the projects by planning and supervising the deliverables of direct reports, training and motivating of project staff  
Location:
Based on the location of the projects
  1. Maternal,  Nutrition and Child Health (MNCH) Program Advisor -Jakarta
  2. Early Child Education (ECE) Program Advisor - Jakarta
Responsibilities:

  • Leads MNCH and ECE Program Team and design/develop high quality and effective program, projects, interventions following Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) that effectively support to achieve Country Strategic Plan (CSP)  III objectives of Plan Indonesia
  • Provide technical support to MNCH and ECE implementation team to implement designed program, projects or interventions in a planned way with quality and standard to achieve CSP III MNCH and ECE program objectives
  • Advocate for Plan’s program, strategies, approaches, interventions with government, development partners and INGOs and support to emerge as a credible technical partner in child development,MNCH and ECE sector
  • Represent Plan in different national and international forums, networks on MNCH and ECE sector and at the same time in different technical committees/forums of government and non-government to increase profile of Plan and create networks and partnership for scaling up program
  • Provide support to raise fund through developing high quality concept note, proposal, research, technical document, reports as well as maintains a network and relationship with external and internal donor and development partners
  • Manages team and performance of MNCH and ECE program team and enriched them to deliver high quality results including coping with the latest changes in sectors
       5. Technical and Vocational Training (TVET)  Specialist - Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical technical input into the project strategy, design, indicators and Detailed Implementation Plan specifically on Early Childhood Development and Transition to Primary School / early grades education
  •  Develop project implementation and monitoring guidelines and tools
  • Monitor project quality and provide input for improvement inline with the project design
  • Alert Program Unit (PU) technical staff, Program Unit Managers, as to any problems with project quality or variations from strategy
  • Provide technical input to the development of project work plan for each PU
  • Review PU level planning for technical quality
  • Prepare aggregate technical progress reports as required by donors
       6. Risk & Security Manager (Jakarta)    
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that Plan Indonesia’s security strategy is being followed and that the Standard Operating Procedures for security have been successfully rolled out to all offices
  • Ensure that the risk management strategy  and  risk management policy are being followed and that the risks of Plan Indonesia are being managed  and reported  as per the policy
Requirements:
  • Master degree with relevant education
  • Minimum 5 years experience in same field  
  • Minimum 5 years experince in the managerial level (1,2,3,4 and 6)
  • Experience developing and writing proposals and reporting
  • Good knowledge and skills: Communication skills, analytical and conceptual thinking, Building and managing teams, networking, marketing, leadership, crisis management, human resource management, problem solving, negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of the security situation, common security SOP and risk management (6)
  • Fluent both Indonesia and English (oral and written)
