The
SCPP is a large Public Private Partnership (“PPP”) in Indonesia which
has started in January 2012. The Program is financed by the Swiss
Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO, The Sustainable Trade Initiative
IDH, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and five Private
Sector Companies from the cocoa sector for the duration from 2012 –
2015.
The Program works directly with 60,000 cocoa farming households in six
Indonesian Provinces to improve farm productivity and livelihood
conditions.
The
MRM Manager is responsible for the management of Program Monitoring,
Result Measurement, and Evaluation activities. This includes, but is not
limited to, the organization and management of data collection,
surveys, analysis and validation of MRM data and information,
compilation of Program activities and results, provides information into
reports, and supporting the Head of Support Services and the Regional
Managers with periodic Program reporting.
For our Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP) in Indonesia, we are looking for a

- Sumatera: Sumatera Barat (Tanah Datar)
Duration of Works :
A maximum of 40 working days
Purpose
Responsible
to measure the construction needs, ensure the quality and quantity of
building materials, supervise the building process
and accomplish the construction in the highest standard.
Scope of work
- Preparation of technical designs, draw/develop the construction plan, technical specifications and bill of quantities for the proposed constructions planning;
- Draft detailed dimensional drawings, structure or system and material requirements and design layouts for projects and to ensure conformance to specifications;
- Plan and conduct field surveys to locate proposed sites and analyze details of project sites to determine suitability for occupancy;
- Determine project details, such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions;
- Supervision, coordinate with field staff and provide technical assistant for construction of the new facilities construct in spread area to ensure the project activities is finished on time;
- Inspect project site and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes;
- Maintain construction records such as schedules, man power, materials on sites, progress reports, and accomplishment reports;
- Attendance in formal meetings with contractors, authorization of contractors reports, inspection and approval of contractors’ claims for progress payments;
- Conduct materials test and analysis, using tools and equipment, and applying engineering knowledge;
- Provide support to Procurement Manager related to the construction project implemented by Swisscontact through Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP);
- Prepare reports, document project activities and data;
- Report maintenance problems occurring at project site to program/management and negotiate changes to contractor to resolve;
- Respond to public suggestions and complaints if any;
- Regular and timely reporting to to Procurement & Logistic Manager;
- Work closely with SCPP Program Unit.
Deliverables
- Drawing design of construction, technical specification and materials Bill of Quantity (BOQ);
- Construction activities planning;
- Construction activities progress report.
