Plan International Vacancies: Child Marriage Project Manager, Gender & Youth Specialist, MER Specialist - Bogor - Cibinong

Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:

Child Marriage Project Manager
(Kab. Bogor - Cibinong)

Responsibilities:
Project Implementation Planning
  • Develop implementation and monitoring plan based on approved project design and within agreed timeline
  • Seeks for potential partners/consultants and conduct partnership assessment
  • Prepare any partnership agreements
  • Review relevant target beneficiaries within project plans 
  • Input project data into PPM (project outline) in a timely and accurate manner
Project implementation inline with the project design and planning
  • Coordinate program implementation with Child Protection Advisor and Child Participation Program Advisor, Gender Advisor, PUMs and project implementation staff. 
  • Ensure consistency and coherence of project activities with overall project design 
  • Implement any national and local level activities
  • Build partnership relations with stakeholders of the project and possibly other resource in each level 
  • Ensure that project partners implement Plan’s policy and procedures related to child protection and prevention of fraud.
Technical Support
  • To provide technical advice and support on project implementation
  • To strengthen capacity of project staff and project partners to ensure quality and timely project implementation
Monitoring, Documentation and Evaluation
  • Monitor project activities, outputs and budgets
  • Visit sites at least once per quarter and write visit report 
  • Prepare aggregate financial, narrative and technical progress reports as required by donors
  • Clearly and carefully document successes, failures and best practices at each stage of the project
  • Coordinate the evaluation of the project according to project requirements 
  • In coordination with monitoring and evaluation team develop TOR for project baseline and evaluation
Networks and Learning
  • Organize the exchange of experience between PUs/other project implementers and with other organizations to extend learning and assist with scale up 
  • Seek innovation and put in place improved learning practices within and outside the project scope
  • Ensure the dissemination of documentation of best practices.
  • Establish external networks in order to ensure quality and timely project implementation 
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge and practice in: Child Protection, Adolescent Reproductive Rights, Gender Equality, RSH, partnership and coalition building, technical area, government policies in area.
  • Expert in Planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development project
  • Strong in leadership skill, communication and presentation.
  • Excellent in English both oral and written.
  • Computer literate
Gender & Youth Specialist
(Kab. Bogor - Cibinong)
 
Responsibilities:
Project Quality
  • Provide critical technical input into the project, design, indicators (CSP, CPO) and Detailed Project Implementation.
  • Develop project implementation guidelines and tools for gender and youth.
  • Monitor project activities to improve the project implemenation. 
  • Alert Project Manager as to any problems with program quality or variations from Detailed Project Implementation.
  • Provide input to the development of project planning process (3 three years and annual).
  • Review POs for technical quality.
Building Capacity
  • Advise project staff, Project Manager on ways to improve project implementation. 
  • Train (or arrange training) for partner technical staff as required in the project plan. 
  • Support continuous learning of partner technical staff through workshops, seminars and conferences organized by the project
Learning
  • Document learning in project and best practices of the project. 
  • Share learning and best practices and insure that they are incorporated into future work of child marriage prevention.
  • Help to develop and oversee ToRs for research and evaluation in this project.
  • Ensure you are up to date with current trends and thinking in the prevention of child marriage sector globally and within Indonesia.
  • Conduct continuous search for innovation and improved learning project practices of prevention of child marriage within and outside Plan Indonesia to pursue continuous project improvement.
Networking and advocacy
  • Networking and coordination with others involved in the prevention of child marriage
  • Support advocacy activities on prevention of child marriage at district, provincial and national level,
  • Advocate prevention of child marriage at national level where needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in any major
  • 8 years experience and five years in senior position in area of expertise
  • Good knowledge and practice in: Gender Equality, RSH, partnership and coalition building.
  • Strategic planning and evaluating skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good command of oral and written communications
  • Good facilitation and negotiation skill
  • Excellent understanding of sector
MER Specialist
(Kab. Bogor - Cibinong)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring evaluation and reporting for designated project as well as monitoring and evaluating partners.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in any major
  • 8 years experience and five years in senior position in area of expertise
  • Good knowledge and practice in: Gender Equality, RSH, partnership and coalition building.
  • Strategic planning and evaluating skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good command of oral and written communications
  • Good facilitation and negotiation skill
  • Excellent understanding of sector
