The Finance and Administration Manager will be based
in Indonesia and will report directly to the Project Director. The
ideal candidate will be a person with a thorough understanding of USAID
policies and procedures, accounting, and a commitment to international
development. Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation, as well as help with ensuring compliance and consistency with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain finance and accounting files and other documentation serving as evidence of transactions. Assist with month-end closing and year-end duties such as reconciliations, reimbursements, inventory lists, etc.
- Collection of timesheets and issuance of pay slips on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate procurement activities in accordance with procurement policy, obtain quotes and offers, prepare cost and quality analyses, and draft procurement instruments (e.g. purchase orders and contracts).
- Responsible for accounts payable function and cash disbursements in accordance with financial policies and procedures.
- Process employee expense reimbursements and advance requests.
- Coordinate all matters related to the operations and administration of the Indonesia office.
- Coordinate with the Contract Director in managing the office lease to make sure it is current and amendments are processed as required.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, plus 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of complete accounting cycle is required.
- Strong analytical ability; accuracy with numbers; and extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite and experience with computerized accounting systems required.
- Excellent time management; ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow through.
- Knowledge of USAID compliance rules and regulations preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral; Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian preferred
