The Center for Public Policy Transformation is a new, non-profit educational institution established to promote evidence-based policy research and training in Indonesia. Transformasi will collaborate with domestic and international partners to provide executive education programs for government officials, to link training to practical policy research and help domestic researchers and research institutions build capacity for evidence-based research. Transformasi will invest in communications and outreach to raise public awareness of policy issues and link policymakers, researchers, and the general public.
Finance Officer
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Director, the Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, payroll, and tax matters.
Job Description:
- Prepare cash and bank transactions and it’s supporting documents (payments and receipts)
- Obtain Finance & Administration Director’s approval before paying.
- Processing of authorized payment requests for both cash and bank payments, preparation of cheques for signatures (including input the e-banking payment).
- Responsible for petty cash
- Prepare monthly cash, bank and advance journals, cash count, and bank reconciliation to journal balance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Prepare monthly tax calculation, payment and report and fill in and share tax payment forms to all suppliers
- Assist the budget revision preparation
- Assist the budget analysis preparation
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Ensure financial data are correctly entered into the system
- Prepare and process payroll
- Manage the financial and legal documents filing
- Liaise with the Secretary and Administration Assistant and another team member in order to support the program activities
- Any other duties assigned by the Finance and Administration Director as required
The Finance Officer will have the following experience and attributes:
- Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 4-6 years experiences in finance or equivalent post
- Trustworthy, high integrity and have a good analytical skill
- Experienced working in NGO/INGO is preferred
- Able to communicate effectively both in verbal and written with accounting and non-accounting professionals
- Advanced computer skill (Ms-Word, Ms-Excel, Internet)
- Able to work well in a team and require minimum supervision
- Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
