SOS Children’s Villages International, International Office Region- Asia needs Fund Development & Communications Advisor
It is a non-governmental and non-denominational organisation entirely
funded by private contributions. The objective of SOS Children’s
Villages International is to help through National SOS Children’s
Villages Associations, orphaned and abandoned children regardless of
their ethnic roots, nationality and religion by giving them a family, a
permanent home and a sound basis for an independent life. The operations
of SOS Children’s Villages International represents a round up of 132
countries in which it is active and has under its wings 1539 projects
including 491 Children’s Villages.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Fund Development & Communications Advisor:-
POSITION PURPOSE
The Fund Development & Communications Advisor:-
- Supports the functional head in developing and implementing the Regional (Asia) FDC strategies.
- Support designated countries in Asia in FDC planning, monitoring, evaluation, technical support, handholding implementation and capacity building.
JOB PROFILE
- Contribute pro-actively to the development of Regional (Asia) FDC Strategies. Ensure plans are reflecting the market needs and available capacities of the designated countries in Asia.
- Supporting functional head in developing and guiding the International Corporate Alliances strategy in the designated countries in Asia.
- Support designated countries in Asia in their annual planning, quarterly monitoring and course correction along with functional head.
- Support designated countries in Asia in development of FDC communication material and campaigns.
- Prepare reports on FDC plans and campaigns to support management decisions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Essential Values, Behaviors and Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of local language
- Good knowledge of fund development strategies
- High interpersonal skills
- Team oriented
- Willing to travel extensively internationally
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum desired qualification is Bachelors in Business Administration or a graduate with Diploma in Business administration/marketing/communications. Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage
- Should have minimum work-experience of 7-8 years with experience of 4-5 years or more in fund development for the non-profit organisations.
- Should have a flair for writing donor communication material and funding proposals in a comprehensive language.
- Exposure to the use of Direct Mail, Tele-marketing, Internet marketing etc. will be an advantage
Note: The position will be based either in Indonesia, Philippines or Thailand.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and will match industry
