FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION
SENIOR ADVISOR – RENEWABLE ENERGY SUPPORT PROGRAMME FOR ASEAN (ASEAN-RESP)
The Renewable Energy Support Programme for ASEAN (ASEAN-RESP) aims at improving the framework conditions for renewable energies through regional technical and policy exchanges. As cooperation between the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the project works on the regional level and closely cooperates with the ASEAN Renewable Energy Sub-sector Network (RE-SSN).
The
Project covers three main activities: (i) Networking of RE relevant
actors and institutions in the ASEAN region, (ii) support to and advice
on RE policies and framework conditions, and (iii) knowledge exchange
and capacity building in the RE sector.
The
Senior Advisor shall support in the planning, developing, managing,
coordinating and implementing ACE's ASEAN-RESP activities. The Senior
Advisor deployment shall take place in close coordination and
cooperation with ACE's Executive Director,
GIZ's Programme Director and Principal Advisor for ASEAN-RESP, and the
ASEAN Renewable Energy Sub-Sector Network (RE-SSN) Focal Points.

Successful
candidate will be offered a 1 year contract from June 2014 to May 2015
with a possibility of extension until June 2016. Salary
is up to USD3,000 per month depending on qualifications and experience.
Other applicable benefits include, among others, housing allowance,
medical insurance and others subject to ACE consolidated rules and
regulation.
