Background
The Australia
Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets
in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new rural development program
which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for
1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will be
reached by June 2017
The Role:
As a
member of the Results Measurement and Learning (RM&L) team, under the
supervision of the Head of MR&L Unit, the Knowledge Management and
Learning Manager will be responsible for integrating Knowledge Management and
Learning in the organizational accountability, learning and planning processes.
This position is expected to translating Programme needs into Knowledge Management
and IM solutions, processes, and systems closely cooperating with the MIS
Manager in regard to IS aspects of the system and supported by the in house
ICT Manager in the technical implementation and maintenance of the system.
Selection criteria:
The
successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Master degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Rural Development or Knowledge Management
- At least 5 years’ experience in establishing and maintaining electronic filing and document storage
- At least 3 years’ experience in international develop cooperation and with a thorough understanding of the requirements of accountability, learning and planning
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research design (preferably gender sensitive research), and use of various methods, tools and approaches like Case studies, MSC, Sense making, Photo Voices, Outcome mapping
- Experience in participatory learning methods
- Fluency in use of data processing software (excel, Access others)
- Strong analytical and influencing skills;
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate between different teams to achieve objectives;
- Effective computing skills for KM/L needs and reporting; including word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheets (MS Excel)
- Good written and verbal skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Innovative, willingness to learn from mistakes, ‘out-of-the-box’ thinker
- Good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in teams.
- Willingness to travel to different parts of Eastern Indonesia.
