Papua Enterprise Development Programme (PEDP) is 3 years project
implementing by local partners in Papua in collaboration with Oxfam team.
The project is funded by New Zealand Aid (NZAid) and it was initiated in
May 2011. On the 2nd year of project, Oxfam has a plan to extend the
implementation of the project from May 2014 until October 2014.
The Program Management & SME Agribusiness Specialist's role mainly will
support the Deputy Country Director (DCD) to drive the team to speed up the
program delivery for meeting the expected outputs and outcomes during the
extension period of the program cycle. This post will be based in Jakarta.
Under the supervision of the DCD, the Program Management & SME Agribusiness
Specialist will ensure the PEDP program delivery ill meet the agreed
target based on the result of the external project review and inputs from
the external consultants. He/she will solve the problem facing by the
project team during the implementation of the project from time to time and
will provide strategic input to program/area/country management team and
Oxfam New Zealand. He/she will implement the exit strategy of the program.
The requirement:
Great experience in project management - SME development.
Capable to utilise all SME and management expert input that was
collected to design a feasible exit strategy.
Capable to improve substantially the deliverables of PME of the program
and to finalize the current project with good outcome and design follow
up phrase of PEDP
Problem solving, diplomatic and creative skills capable to work in a
difficult context such Papua.
Computer literacy - good working knowledge of spreadsheets essential and
previous experience of working with on line accounting systems required
Ability to prioritize own workload, to work independently and to work to
deadlines
Well developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be
flexible in demanding situations
Good communication skills - verbal and written – English and Indonesian
well understanding and/or experience on local content in Papua
preferably.
