Proposal Summary:
The purpose of the anticipated Health Technical Assistance Project (BANTU) is to identify, recruit, hire, administer and support qualified individuals or organizations that will provide short or long-term technical assistance directly to the Government of Indonesia (GoI) as needed and requested by USAID/Indonesia’s Office of Health, in particular, to support USAID’s GHI and CDCS strategies and priorities.


Position Summary:
MSI is seeking two Senior Client Relationship Managers (CRM) to serve as the key point of contact between the BANTU Project team and USAID health partner organizations (one CRM will serve Government of Indonesia agencies and senior-level government officials; one will serve INGO and local NGO implementing partners) that are to receive technical assistance from USAID via the BANTU contract. The Senior CRMs will be a part of the Executive Management Team, work closely with the project recruitment team and Deputy Chief of Party/Senior Administrative Officer and report directly to the Project Director.


They will oversee a pool of public health Technical Health Advisors to facilitate communications, expectations and deliverables to clients. S/he will serve as a resource for technical and management support, provide needed strategic direction and quality oversight, and resolve issues at any point in the process – from recruiting to response strategies to client satisfaction. The position will be based full-time in Jakarta.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as point person to individual clients (GOI agencies or USAID implementing partners) and bear responsibility for client satisfaction.
  • Ensure seamless transition from Task Order/ Scope of Work to final deliverables for clients.
  • Lead high-level response strategies to clients (oversee needs assessments; develop capacity building strategies; develop staffing plans; etc.)
  • Work with the Recruiters, M&E Specialist and Technical Health Advisors to develop and implement performance monitoring tools for clients.
  • Troubleshoot any client staffing problems and anticipate upcoming needs with Recruiters as needed.
  • Participate in regular meetings with BANTU Management, USAID and GOI clients.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration and Policy, International development in health or related field.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in senior-level health technical advisory or management roles within USAID or other international / donor-funded projects.
  • Significant experience in assembling project teams and assuring quality of work for a wide range of health specialists.
  • Significant experience in the Indonesian public health system.
  • Substantial professional networks among health and capacity building experts
  • Ability to deliver results according to client specifications, and needs, customizing relationships with various clients.
  • Ability to work within a team and multitask.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian.
