We
are recruiting a communications specialist with excellent Indonesian
language skills to support Yayasan Kopernik’s communications activities
and raise Kopernik’s profile within Indonesia. The position is based at
Kopernik HQ in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
Requirements:
- A university degree in communications (ie journalism, public relations, advertising, creative writing) and at least two years work experience, or a university degree in another discipline with at least three years experience in a communications-focused role.
- Professional writing, copyediting and proofreading skills in Indonesian
- Experience working with website content management systems
- Strong English language skills
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Adobe Design Suite experience
- Video production experience
Responsibilities :
- Edit and publish content to Kopernik’s Indonesian language website
- Manage volunteers to translate content from English to Indonesian
- Promote Yayasan Kopernik’s work through social media channels
- Develop Indonesian language outreach material
- Work with field-based staff to source high quality stories and photos from project locations
- Edit and proofread Indonesian language documents and reports as required
- Coordinate with English and Japanese communications teams
- Other activities as required
