Organizational context and scope
Under direct supervision of the Head of Program
of the Center on Child Protection of the Faculty of Social and Political
Science University of Indonesia, the incumbent will be responsible for
organizing and supporting information technology activities of the Center's
related programs, projects and activities.
The incumbent will be working with a team
of national and expatriates, governmental institutions, local and international
partners and organizations, suppliers, vendors.
II. Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Perform all information technology related activities of the Center's office, programs and projects, including periodical maintenance of the Centers IT equipment (desktops, laptops and server), perform defrag and updating anti virus software
- Provide written and spoken consultation on all information technology related activities of the Center's office, programs and projects as required.
- Provide the Center's website maintenance and system support, including maintaining web site subscription, increase platform capacity as necessary, add pages or tabs as required, establish links with CCP’s partner websites, monitor CCP’s website usage, design graphics for website display; select, install, configure, and administer core Web site software (Web servers, FTP servers, media servers, load balancers, DNS, etc.)
- With the Co-Director, develop web design brief for the revision of www.puskapa.org, including to specify the most effective web systems and applications, web production tool and web programming languages to be used.
- Meet and discuss regularly with the web designer to be hired to review the work, including in development, design, testing and production.
- Create, develop and manage content for the Center’s website, including making links with the Center’s partners' website.
- Coordinate across different projects and functions in the Center to ensure updated information, under the coordination of the Knowledge Management Team, to maintain and develop the web content that serves learning and knowledge sharing purposes.
- Copyedit and proofread all web content in Bahasa Indonesia and in English, including the result of freelancer writers if any.
III. Qualification and Competencies
- S1 or D3 degree or equivalent in Information Technology or proven skill and 3 years experience in Information Technology
- Good programming ability (system analysis, coding)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented, organized and strong time management skills
