Project Officer at Tax Sub-Facility, Jakarta

Norton Rose Fulbright Australia, as the Australian Managing Contractor, is now seeking to appoint a Project Officer who will be based in Jakarta until November 2015. The successful applicant will support the Tax Sub-Facility team providing support to the Government of Indonesia (GOI) to undertake important economic and financial policy reforms as part of the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG).

The successful applicant will be able to clearly demonstrate:

1. Program and project management skills, including in formulation and design, contracting, budgeting, management, monitoring and reporting on program activities
2. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Bahasa Indonesian and in English
3. Ability to effectively plan and organize meetings, seminars, workshops and training activities
4. Ability to perform coordination tasks and undertake multiple assignments
5. Minimum of 3 (three) years experience in working with international development assistance program(s)
6. Excellent ability to work on own initiative as well as a member of a team
7. Capacity to undertake the specific duties of the advertised position

The successful candidate will be expected to mobilize rapidly following negotiations of a contract.
