managing and implementing projects in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Cowater
is the Managing Contractor for the Empowering Indonesian Women for
Poverty Reduction (MAMPU) that aims to improve the welfare
of poor women in Indonesia.
The Program is supporting national and sub national women and
gender-interested organisations and their local partners to forge
coalitions with others within the public and private
sectors to improve access and livelihoods for poor women in Indonesia
in selected geographic areas.
The Program is at an exciting phase of its development and needs two motivated and dynamic senior manager
to join the Jakarta based team.
Finance and Operations Director, MAMPU – Indonesia
The Finance and Operations Director, is a member of the Management Team reporting directly to the Team Leader, and
will be responsible for all Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Logistic
Operations of MAMPU.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall management and supervision of the finance, administration and HR units of the program, including high-level oversight on all program finances, grants, human resources, logistics and procurement;
- Oversee financial management and accounting system, including fraud control and audit procedures that support monthly financial acquittal and reporting;
- Oversee overall program grants management, including supporting and monitoring Partner grant expenditure and reporting;
- Oversee all Services related to the tendering, contracting, contract supervision, contract monitoring and financial management of workplan activities;
- Responsible for developing workplan budgets, forecasts, financial reports, procurement plans, HR plans and program policy manuals, consistent with all relevant DFAT and managing contractor policies;
- Provision of on-going capacity building support to program staff under the finance and operations units of the program.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The Finance and Operations Director
will have the following, skills knowledge and experience:
- 10+ years of experience in managing a major international program operations teams including performance management
- Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in finance, management, human resources management or another relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in managing large scale DFAT Programs
- Strong financial management and grants management skills, and knowledge of all areas of Program management
- Chartered professional accountant (CPA) designation considered an asset
- Experience in Indonesia and knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia preferred
