Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation Vacancy: Freelance Translators

The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation (AIPD) is a five-year program providing technical assistance and capacity building support to local governments and civil society to better manage public resources, leading to improved service delivery and reduced poverty.

The AIPD is looking for competent FREELANCE TRANSLATORS for following purpose and qualifications.
 
Purpose:
To translate materials from Indonesian to English and vice versa.
 
Qualifications:
  • University degree in English literature, social sciences or relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in English and Indonesian grammar and syntax
  • Native speaker is preferred for the translation from Indonesian to English
  • Proven writing skills
  • At least five years of professional translation experience
  • Understanding public finance management and decentralisation issues in Indonesia is an advantage
Applicants are expected to submit a recent CV of max. three pages, a quotation for translation fee and one page sample of translation.
