Specific responsibilities include:
- Ensure the ABA ROLI Jakarta office is compliant with Indonesian law and internal and donor policies
- Develop field office budgets and provide oversight of office expenditures
- Provide support to sub-grantees in the preparation of budgets, financial reports and cash requests
- Assist Jakarta office staff to track and meet reporting and operational deadlines
- Oversee large-scale procurement
- Train Jakarta office staff on ABA ROLI and donor policies
- Oversee payroll
Candidates must have the following qualifications, skills and work experience in order to be shortlisted for interview:
- Undergraduate degree in Economy (Management or Accountancy Major) / Sarjana (S1) Ekonomi (jurusan Manajemen atau Akuntansi)
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the field of finance and tax
- Minimum of five years’ experience working on USAID -funded projects in the area of Operations or Finance
- Experience developing and managing large, complex project budgets
- Understanding of accountancy concepts, financial reports and tax requirements (cash flow, general ledger balance and loss sheets, income and social taxes)
- Advanced written and spoken English and Indonesian language skills
- In-depth knowledge of USAID finance and procurement policies
- Ability to deal with bureaucratic institutions and procedures
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to work within a small, established team
