1. Government Liaison Officer – READI
The Government Liaison Officer is a key position in Mercy
Corps Padang Office and will lead the coordination and
partnership effort of Mercy Corps Padang program with all levels of the government
and private sectors in Bengkulu, West Sumatra , Meulaboh, Nias and Mentawai, and
ensure consistently high quality reports to the governments. The individual holding the position described in
this Position Description will be responsible for
developing, coordinating, maintaining and constantly improving government and private sector partnership
strategy, Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU), as well as provide assistance and training to the government staff in
each office. In addition, the Government Liaison Officer is responsible for
ensuring that the reports to the government by each field office are timely and
of a high quality.
This will be achieved
through staff capacity building and necessary training.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Indonesia government relationship;
- Good English in both verbal and written is desirable;
- Excellent computers skills absolutely required (MS Office, Word, Excell, Power Point, and Outlook);
- Excellent skills in Report Writing, Presentation, and Representation;
- Prior experience in an international NGO or an international firm is advantageous.
This
position will be as temporary staff for 5 months
MEULABOH
1. DRR Project Officer - READI
The Project Officer is a key position in READI
Program in Meulaboh and will lead the coordination and partnership effort of
Mercy Corps Padang Office
with all activities READI Program
in West Sumatra ,
Bengkulu, Meulaboh, Nias and Mentawai, and ensure consistently high
quality activity to the schools. The individual holding the
position described in this Position Description will be responsible for
developing, coordinating, maintaining and constantly monitoring program activities, as
well as provide assistance and training to the schools in the
area.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in DRR program;
- Good English in both verbal and written is desirable;
- Excellent computers skills absolutely required (MS Office, Word, Excell, Power Point, and Outlook);
- Prior experience in an international NGO is advantageous.
This
position will be as temporary staff for 3 months
