Project title:
Intermittent Screening and Treatment or Intermittent Prevention Therapy for
control of malaria in pregnancy in Indonesia (STOPMIP)
The position offer opportunities for motivated candidate to
join an international collaborative project between the Eijkman Institute for
Molecular Biology and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK. The
Eijkman Institute is a prestigious well established internationally acclaimed
research institute advancing and contributing to infectious and non-infectious
disease based scientific research. Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is an
international centre of excellence with upto date access and expertise in
tropical infectious diseases making them a world leader in their field.
Computer literacy, time management and organisational skills
and ability to work both collaboratively and independently across a
multi-disciplinary team are essential. Good command of written and spoken
English is an additional merit for the role below;
Project Assistant
The Project Assistant
is responsible to provide certain administrative tasks directly related to the
conduct of the study and procurement support to the Principal Investigators.
S/he must be flexible, open to learning new skills and conduct the work in the
highest professional standard in an ethical manner with competence,
accountability and integrity. The successful candidate will be based in
Jakarta.
