TII Vacancy – IT and Database Officer
Transparency
International (TI) is the global civil society organization leading the fight
against corruption. Through more than 100 chapters worldwide and an
international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the
damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business
and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
Transparency
International Indonesia (TI-Indonesia) as one of the chapters focus on systemic
approach to fight corruption by developing and introducing tools and
instruments to prevent corruption, research and analysis, and strengthening
civil society. TI-Indonesia has been comprehensively engaging young people
since 2010.
The CEK-SEKOLAH-KU Project mission are to improving school condition and governance through participatory monitoring of school performance. We sit at the center of the
organization, having strong relationships with information
technology, communications, school community and also the
Government.
The Cek Sekolah Ku Project is seeking a passionate IT and Database
officer to be based in
Jakarta from December
2013 to September 2014 for the
position of:
IT and Database Officer
- Identify an information technology and database to be supported in projects contributing, programs and The Cek Sekolah Ku deliverables
- Update and maintain information technology and database instruments for The Cek Sekolah KU platform.
- Support and assist on IT and Database platform in local areas and national level.
- Contribute to The Cek Sekolah Ku deliverables on online and offline platfom.
Knowledge,
experience and skills
- University degree (or equivalent relevant experiences) in Information Technology (Information System, etc); or other relevant fields
- Minimum two years experience IT and Database program relevant.
- Computer, Information technology, database (mySQL and others) literate
- Proven perspectives and experience with and in-depth understanding of people’s movement and strengthening civil society.
- Good understanding of program design approaches in NGOs
- Flexible and adaptable to organizational priorities
- Capable of against deadlines
- Excellent communication, impeccable presentation and strong networking skills
- Written and spoken English at average level.
- Maximum age to apply: 30 years old
