RTI is seeking for highly qualified candidates for our RTI Indonesia Regional Office based in Jakarta for the following positions:
I. IT SPECIALIST
Job Summary:
The
IT Specialist will assist the RTI ITS Asia Pacific Regional Manager in
managing the IT infrastructure for RTI Indo regional office and project
offices.
The
IT Specialist is required to possess significant technical expertise
and excellent communication skills. He/ she must also be persistent in
ensuring compliance with RTI IT guidelines, regulations and technical
aspects.
This position reports to the RTI ITS Asia Pacific Regional Manager
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities
Under
the authority of the Director of RTI International-Asia Regional
Office, the co-authority of the Senior Director of ITS Support Services,
and the direct supervision of the RTI ITS Asia Pacific Regional
Manager, the IT Specialist is required to undertake the following duties
and responsibilities:
- To provide support – in matters related to IT infrastructure and systems – to RTI Indo regional office and project offices in Indonesia which do not have a permanent IT staff, including on share internet access, network devices, file/database server, backup systems and other IT-related support tasks.
- To act as the backup person to the RTI ITS Asia Pacific Regional Manager, i.e. in providing support – in matters related to IT infrastructure – to RTI offices and project offices outside Indonesia within the Asia Pacific region.
- To maintain Project servers at offices which do not have a permanent IT staff:
- To ensure Windows Server and other softwares are maintained and that patches are promptly applied on all servers
- To ensure that both the engine and signature files are kept up-to-date
- To ensure information is backed up and maintained in accordance with RTI policies and procedures
- To maintain spare parts and carry out hardware repairs and restoration.
- To provide support in matters related to PC software and its peripherals (Win XP Pro, Win 7 Pro, Microsoft Office 2010, McAfee antivirus, Checkpoint Pointsec, etc) including:
- To ensure Windows and other softwares are maintained and that patches are promptly applied on all computers.
- To ensure the anti-virus software is installed and that both the engine and signature files, are kept up-to-date
- To ensure information is backed up and maintained in accordance with RTI policies and procedures.
- To provide user support on hardware-, networking- and software-related issues.
- To install and manage the configuring and troubleshooting of laptops / desktops / printers / scanners.
- To serve as the first port-of-call for the maintaining of network infrastructure including ISP, router and ethernet switches for RTI Indo regional office and project offices in Indonesia which do not have a permanent IT staff.
- To coordinate with the Administration Unit of RTI Indo regional office for IT Inventory Management and for conducting physical checks on a regular basis.
- To work under the supervision of RTI ITS Asia Pacific Regional Manager for day-to-day operations as well as for any technical or compliance matters.
- To perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (or its equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or other related field
- Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supporting a wide range of IT infrastructure systems in multiple locations
- Prior experience working on USAID- or AUSAID-funded programs or other international organizations in a senior-level IT support capacity would be an added advantage
- Skills/ Competencies : Strong PC and Server support experience, Demonstrated experience in or basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008, MS Office 2007/2010, Win 7 Pro and McAfee anti-virus
- Good work ethics and strong desire to complete tasks in a timely manner as directed
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- A customer service oriented individual
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Tact and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
- Show willingness to keep abreast of available technology or to learn new technology; while at the same time understand applicability and limitations of technology to the work of the office
- Language: Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
II. Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The
Finance Manager will report to the Regional Finance Director. The
incumbent responsible to run finance and accounting functions for the
project, ensuring that RTI financial policies are properly implemented
and all transactions are properly processed, recorded, and reported on
time. The focus of the task will be on but not limited to QuickBooks
accounting for Jakarta and Asia Regional offices including overseeing
financial transactions in RTI Indonesia office. The
Finance Manager is responsible for the accuracy of these transactions
so as to ensure compliance with all RTI and client policies and
procedures.
The
Finance Manager is to regularly assist Regional Finance Director to
review the financial system to identify aspects that can be improved.
Under this contract, the Finance Manager will be an employee of RTI
Indonesia.
Essential Job Functions - Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages all financial and administrative aspects of the organization and ensures compliance with RTI and US Government (USG) financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversees preparation and submission of monthly financial statements (including expenses, receivables, payables and taxation).
- Ensures timely submission of expense reports, bank reconciliations, and wire transfer requests to corporate headquarters in the US.
- Ensures timely response and feedback to any issues addressed by the International Accounting team and the other business partners.
- Prepares biweekly cash requirements; monitors cash flow and reconciles cash accounts to maintain appropriate cash balances.
- Prepares monthly financial reports and tracks expenditures vs approved budget.
- Oversee the tax calculation, payment and reconciliation for Income Taxes and Value Added Tax.
- Provide day-to-day financial supervision in RTI Indonesia, working closely with the Regional team and RTI’s technical and financial points of contact.
- Provides training of staffs responsible for financial management and reporting in RTI Indonesia Office and projects.
- Report to the Regional Finance Director.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in alignment with his/her professional standard.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of experience or Master’s Degree in Finance with 6 years of experience in financial and administrative management.
- Have knowledge in accounting, finance, taxes, and administration. Experience in auditing will be preferable.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Indonesian.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- High standard of personal and professional integrity.
- High degree of adaptability to varied working environments and good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience in managing project/accounting/financial management. Experience in project financed by USAID is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in excel, internet banking and email. Experience work with QuickBooks software will be an advantage.
