Vacancy at HELM Project: Project Recruiter, Jakarta

Chemonics International, a global international development consulting firm seeks qualified Indonesian specialists for the USAID Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project in Indonesia. Entering the third year of implementation, HELM is a five-year project aiming to improve the academic performance of Indonesia’s higher education sector through analytical support for strategic planning, policy analysis, and capacity development approaches for effective implementation of key reforms throughout Indonesia’s higher education sector. 1.       Project Recruiter
This position will be responsible for leading the local recruitment of both long-term and short-term local staff for the Indonesia HELM project. The project recruiter will work closely with the HELM project staff to determine the needs for long and short-term roles and will manage the recruitment process, which includes biographical data material collection, obtain reference information for selected candidates, and assist with preparing the hiring process, as necessary. This is a short-term opportunity with a minimum six-month requirement and a possibility to extend, based on project needs.

Qualifications

·         B.A./B.S. in relevant field required.
·         Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in recruitment management or human resources required.
·         3 years relevant experience with international donor or NGO strongly preferred.
·         Strong experience with Word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), e-mails (Microsoft Outlook) required.
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia required.
