Opportunities to contribute to the monitoring & evaluation for health systems program in Indonesia
 
 
·         Based in Jakarta, Indonesia
 
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Health Systems Strengthening (AIPHSS) is a four-year program, funded by the Government of Australia through AusAID, to support the Government of Indonesia deliver better primary health care to the poor and near poor. AIPHSS is designed to strengthen health financing and workforce systems and improve primary health care services. Coffey International Development provides a key supportive function as the Implementing Service Provider of the program. We are currently seeking applications for two key positions:
 
 
Monitoring & Evaluation Adviser (COFF-3791)
 
·         short term/long term contract, flexible subject to negotiation
 
The M&E Adviser will manage and coordinate the high level evaluation activities. In consultation with the National Institute of Health Research & Development (NIHRD) and AusAID, this role will prepare scope of services and critique applications for impact and outcome evaluations of the program. This position will also work closely with the M&E Manager, the Program Management Unit and Ministry of Health in data collection and analysis methodologies for effective reporting on program performance.
 
 
Monitoring & Evaluation Manager (COFF-3792)
 
·         this long term position is reserved for Indonesia nationals
 
The M&E Manager is responsible for the operational management of the Program’s monitoring and evaluation responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Short-Term M&E Adviser, the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Program Management Unit (PMU) and central and subnational level MOH data units to coordinate data collection and apply appropriate analysis methodologies for effective reporting on program performance.
 
To be successful for each of the above positions, the ideal candidate(s) will be a health specialist, ideally with a research dissertation component in monitoring & evaluation of health programs. Sound understanding of the health and development sectors in Indonesia will be highly regarded.
