SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working for healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. With the head office in Medan, the community programs are mainly run in Mentawai and Nias. In 2013 SurfAid is expanding its program to eastern Indonesia, starting with a small team in Bima.
FINANCE MANAGER (1 POSITION IN MEDAN)Managing Finance team in Medan office and Field Offices, Finance Manager is responsible to coordinate cash management and financial reporting (donor reports, quarterly reports, and tax reports). Additional responsibilities may include financial system and processes improvements as well as Finance training and coaching to non Finance staff.
Minimum requirements:

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree from Accounting / Finance Management with more than 5 years experience in Finance, preferably with work experience in Non Government Organization
- Attention to detail
- Familiar with MYOB
- Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of Indonesian Tax regulations
- Excellent English in speech and written
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree with Accounting background and at least 4 years experience in Finance, preferably with experience in Non Government Organization,
- Experience in staff management (small team),
- Good analytical skills,
- Experience working with payroll and asset/inventory management,
- Familiarity with MYOB and T-Pay softwares is a plus
- Proven track record of transparency and accountability
Reporting to Finance Officer, Finance Assistant is in charge of document review and payment processing including the data entry to accounting system.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Public Health, Community Development with 2 years of relevant work experience
- Familiar with issues related to mother & child health and community development.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills as well as diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of different sectors of the community.
- Knowledge of the local wisdom and areas and capablility to ride a motorbike is preferred
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor degree with more than 2 years professional experience.
- Good understanding of administration, procurement and logistic principles.
- Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor the effective use and safekeeping of fixed assets and financial resources.
- Ability to speak English is preferred
