We are now seeking a highly qualified national candidate to fill in the position of a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, who will coordinate and ensure the quality of the monitoring and evaluation of all projects in Indonesia.

We are now seeking a highly qualified national candidate to fill in the position of a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, who will coordinate and ensure the quality of the monitoring and evaluation of all projects in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- To lead the design, along with the project team, of M&E frameworks, result chains, M&E plan, data collection and quality protocols for SNV projects
- To support the preparation and implementation of baselines, annual result monitoring, and impact evaluations
- To ensure that the quality of monitoring and data complies with SNV and other donor standards
- To support mangers with the timely compilation of progress reports
- To ensure that the M&E databases are updated routinely and systematically
- To train project staff in M&E and provide technical support upon request
- To undertake monitoring and technical support visits to projects
- To ensure that project documentation meets SNV standards
- To contribute to knowledge management and learning by preparing and
disseminating data, lessons learned, good practices and statistical,
qualitative, and anecdotal evidence provided by activities to
stakeholders.
Candidate profile
- Degree in a social science, development, statistics or other relevant studies
- Formal training in monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage
- Experience of not less than 4 years in M&E preferably related to private sector development programs
- Demonstrable competencies in setting up M&E systems will be an added advantage
- Competency in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Strong analytical skills including analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Good inter-personal skills, team player, able to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written English and Bahasa)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills required to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
- Indonesian citizen
Contract Duration: A one-year contract with possibility of extension will be offered.
