Human Resources Officer
1 (one) position, Jakarta Minimum IDR5,360,000 gross monthly salary and excellent benefits, for a fixed period of one year (renewable)
This post will work proactively to assist the Human Resources Manager with professional and reliable support in the achievement of British Council Indonesia’s objectives; and assists line manager in budget monitoring and will operate financial processes on the British Council’s SAP system.
Human Resources Officer

This post will work proactively to assist the Human Resources Manager with professional and reliable support in the achievement of British Council Indonesia’s objectives; and assists line manager in budget monitoring and will operate financial processes on the British Council’s SAP system.
Key duties of this post include:
- Human Resources Data Management & Administration, which are :
- Administer a range of HR functions and activities (including but not limited to: HR Administration & Recording, Communications, HR queries, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Internship, Employee Facilitation & Counselling, Staff Activities, Formalities letter)
- Provide assistance in reporting, analysis, intelligence related to HR scope of work, in an accurate manner.
- Contribute towards the development of, HR policies which meet BC Indonesia's operational needs and which are in line with its values, in order to support the achievement of its operational goals, including learning from best practices by keeping abreast of HR practices.
- Handle administer recruitment exercises logistic (scheduling, communications and documentations), manage and monitor job advertisement, applications submissions, applicants monitoring and communications with external and internal parties.
- To assist HR Manager in conducting Learning & Development, create draft of learning & development plan, budget planning and budget monitoring, look for quotes, liaise with vendors and suppliers
- To assist HR Manager for Pay & Benefits, payroll process, collect required data for accurate payroll administration and administer benefits management for staff, including but not limited to medical insurance for all staff.
- Assist the HR Manager in terms of delivery of EO&D programmes, i.e. promote EO&D discussions and office trainings, raise awareness on evidence-gathering and work closely with the region on EO&D matters and initiatives
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in HR services.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Indonesian.
- Competence in use of MS Office.
- Possession of a bachelor degree (S1).
- Professionalism in outlook, approach to work and appearance.
