CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.

CARE Indonesia  in Head Quarter Office - Jakarta  is currently recruiting the following position for its project:
 
JOB TITLE : PROJECT OFFICER (PO)

REPORTS TO : PROJECT MANAGER (PM)   

JOB SUMMARY

Under supervision of PACE Project Manager (PM), the Project Officer (PO) is responsible for planning, implementation (including facilitating training, providing consultancy and selecting consultant) and reporting of delivery life skill training for female garment workers (FGWs) in selected areas. The implementation responsibility includes also a series of support the identification of challenging, potential problem solving, monitoring the progress of life skill training impact to female garment workers and assisting PM in coordinating with the factory management for field activities. PO also work to organize the training and with selected consultant or external trainer in implement training series for FGWs and Key Influence.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Assist the development of detailed plans and schedules for training delivery and coordination meeting.
  • Organize training preparation activities including TOR preparation, consultant/trainer recruitment and selection, training kit procurement and transportation arrangement.
  • Assist coordination with factory management, beneficiary leaders and trainers/consultant for designing time table of activities and training participants mobilization.
  • Administer trainers/consultants and provide feedback to Project Manager to optimize the impact of training
  • Ensure timely and quality of activities implementation through: 
    • Coordinate with trainer to implement life skills training for FGWs using adult and facilitation approach
    • Assist the design sets of Data Base Monitoring assessment form (Attendance Tracking, Pre-Post test, training evaluations of participant training, and review meeting with a trainer
    • Collect and Entry monitoring assessment form of participant training each session module
    • Assist the designing, planning, implementation and reporting documents of Training of Trainer to improve co-trainer’s facilitation skills to train  FGWs independently
    • Coordinate with Project Manager to implement sensitization programs, key influence training series, etc.
    • Support transfer of skills, lesson learn and best practices to strengthen staff of selected factory(ies)
  • Ensure time and quality of reporting on activities of training series either for FGWs or Training of Trainers for Co trainer.
  • Assist the compilation ofroutine progress reports and contribute to final project report.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor degree in social science, communication or public health.
  • Experience : 
    • Preferably a minimum one year experience in:
      • Community development program delivery (as field facilitator or field coordinator).
      • Contributing in monitoring activities, particularly in women empowerment program.
      • Organizing training and developing report post training.
    • Having understanding on research methodology (qualitative and quantitative research).
    • Having understanding on labor policy, women rights and gender equality in general level.
    • Outstanding experience in conducting administrative task.
  • Specific technical skills :
    • Diplomacy skill.
    • Ability to understand English (verbal and in writing).
    • Prior experience with female worker in Indonesia, preferably.
    • Presentation skill and Microsoft skill (Word, Excel, Power Point).
