Greenpeace is Hiring : New Media Coordinator

Currently we are seeking a New Media Coordinator*. *Reporting to Mass Mobilization Manager.

The New Media Coordinator will lead Greenpeace Southeast Asia - Indonesia online organizing work, in support of external campaign/project and in internal strengthening/building of our organization and the movement we support, through the management of online presence.

The New Media Coordinator is responsible to:

1. Provide expertise in web-designing, online marketing and other online supporter engagement strategy

2. Ensure professional and timely online presence of Greenpeace that is relevant to our current and potential supporter (non-financial and financial) base

3. Ensure integration with other programs

4. On Planning, implementation and Evaluation

5. Project Management

Selection Criteria (Essential)

1. Bachelor’s degree involving digital communications, online media production and/or minimum 2 years relevant equivalent industry experience

2. Demonstrated experience in supporter focused online design, website development and construction, including web design, online content management systems and email direct marketing

3. Demonstrated skills in online organizing and mass mobilization strategy development, implementation and evaluation, including extracting, tracking, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on user behavior data

4. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment across multiple time zones

5. A commitment to direct action and the synergy between social justice and environmentalism

6. A willingness and ability to travel internationally and a flexible approach to work

7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining programming methodologies and coding standards.

8. Experience working with short-term deadlines with little supervision.

9. Willing to learn and experiment with new technology.

10. Can work under pressure and is a team player.


(Desirable)

1. Desktop Publishing Skills

2. Ability to work across Windows and Mac operating systems
