Assistant to ICT Advisor - Civil Engineer for the Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction

The Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction (AIFDR) represents Australia¡¦s largest bilateral commitment to reducing the impact of disasters and is a key part of Australia¡¦s development program in Indonesia. The AIFDR works in close partnership with the Indonesian Disaster Management Agency, BNPB, and focuses on enhancing Indonesia¡¦s capacity to identify, mitigate, and respond to risks from natural disasters. One of the existing commitments is Capacity Development Support Programme (CDSP).
BNPB
Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana or the Indonesian Disaster Management Agency was inaugurated by Presidential Decree in 2008 and established as a key national disaster management agency responsible for coordinating and conducting pre-disaster, response, and posting in accordance with the National Disaster Management Law No. 24 Year 2007.
ICT Master-Plan
BNPB is currently operating from three separate main buildings. In a few years, all the personnel, asset, and operations will merge in one building. With the improved coordination¡Xdisaster preparedness, disaster response, and other programmes¡Xwill be delivered more effectively and efficiently. To support the outcome, a work-plan blueprint is needed to secure the ICT foundation.
Objective
Comprehensive and ready-to-use set of building and room blueprints with detailed engineering specifications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze concepts from pre-made grand-designs
- Research and work together with other consultants to produce comprehensive blueprints
- Incorporate other drawings into one comprehensive design set
- Prepare presentation and conference materials
- Perform other duties
The assistant will deliver a separate weekly and monthly reports to the ICT Advisor. The reports will follow specified templates and will undergo auditing processes every three months, which will determine the continuation of the applicant into the next quarter.

Starts on April 1st, 2013 and finishes on December 31st, 2013
Confidentiality
Maintain confidentiality of information and specifics regarding concepts, content, and other matters indirectly related to the Master-Plan that is being drafted.
Criteria
Technical qualification
- Skilled in civil engineering work
- Skilled in drafting floor and electrical blueprints
- Experience with solar panel technologies
- Experience with hydro-electric generators
- Experience with energy cooling solutions
- Skilled in 2D and 3D drawing applications
- Master Degree in Building/Civil Engineering
- Physically fit
- High degree of discipline
- Attention to detail
- Team-player
- Reachable 24/7 and able to work over-time
- Fluent English
IDR 15.000.000/Month
