Conservation International, an international
non-governmental organization, is seeking applicants for the following
position to be based in Jakarta:
Marine Program Coordinator
This position will assist senior CII Marine staff with their planning,implementation and monitoring of all programs and projects in the CII Marine portfolio. A diverse and exciting position, the management coordinator will be responsible for tasks across several sites. This will require close contact with managers and senior advisers and field programs to ensure that project plans and strategies are carried out to a high standard. It will involve the management of key grants and
contracts to local partners. The coordinator will also assist with monitoring and reporting across all key marine projects.
Key Duty/Responsibility:
Marine Program Coordinator

contracts to local partners. The coordinator will also assist with monitoring and reporting across all key marine projects.
Key Duty/Responsibility:
- Assist senior CII Marine staff with planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation across all programs and projects in the CII Marine portfolio.
- Day-to-day management and administration of grants and contracts for the marine program (supported on programmatic aspects by senior staff and financial aspects by finance team).
- Assist with program reporting across all marine projects – including coordinating donor reporting, partner updates, fact-checking and editing drafts, coordinating and compiling inputs from partners.
- Assist senior management and operations team with rollout of HR and recruitment processes across marine program - including socialization of policies and procedures, assisting the preparation of job descriptions, assisting recruiting processes as required.
- Assist the management and operations team to develop organizational strategies for more efficient and consistent program delivery and operations – including sharing ‘best practice’ between sites, identifying staff training needs, facilitating better communication between sites.
- Assist with other Marine program initiatives as required – including communications, supporting donor visits, new program development, writing and editing.
Qualifications:
- University Degree (S1) related to organizational management or marine management with at least 2 years’ experience in a professional capacity
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Some understanding or experience of marine conservation
- Good capacity to communicate/write in English
- Experience with work planning and/or budgets
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to adapt to new working environments quickly
- Ability to write reports
