Save the Children has worked in Indonesia since 1976 to promote health and nutrition, education, child protection, livelihoods, and emergency preparedness and response. Save the Children has grown enormously in the country and today we operate in 13 provinces across Indonesia. Our program in Indonesia has made significant progress at the national policy level. Currently Save the Children immediately need for an experienced staff to be part of our Family Based Care program implementation team and will be based in Bandung .
The position we are looking for:
Child Protection Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator (code: CP ME Coord – Bdg) – 1 post, based in Bandung
The CPME Coordinator oversees the quality of project monitoring and evaluation across all CP FBC programs that consist of (Pusat Dukungan Anak dan Keluarga/Child and Family Support Centre (PDAK), De-I Project, IKEA project and including new initiatives such as the Signature Program. This includes working closely with the FBC Sr. PM to ensure that projects contain appropriate monitoring and evaluation system. It also includes working with Project Managers, National ME Specialist, ME Officer and staff under FBC programs to ensure that appropriate program monitoring and evaluation systems is established including ensuring the quality of all M&E plans and reports for each individual project. This position will be based in Bandung and require travel to project sites throughout Bandung greater areas.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Undertake ME plan, activities and report for PDAK, De-I, SCUK Breakthrough and other initiative such as Signature Program.
2. Coordinate ME Officer under CP FBC for project ME plans, activities, reports and communication.
3. Develop good relationship with program manager under CP FBC to ensure ME plan, activities and report well run and smoothly.
4. Support National ME Specialist with periodic information and learning from CP FBC ME.
5. Manage communications with internal organizational and external organization particularly Child Protection Initiative (CPI) and SC members in presenting ME reports.
6. Open to new ideas, knowledge and initiatives in ME, develops and encourages new and innovative solutions.
7. Take care of disciplined risks to develop sustainable solutions for and with children.
8. Carry out the duties in accordance with the SCI Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies and procedures.
9. Carry out the duties in accordance with SCI Health and Safety policies and procedures.
10. The job duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the Post holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.
Requirements:
Education: Master degree in sociology, social work and relevant studies are preferable.
Skill and Experiences:
· Having experience in ME program at least for 5 years with relevant experience as Project/Program management.
· Excellent basic ME knowledge (quantitative skills of research capacity, basic program cycle).
· Holds self accountable for making decisions and achieving measurable results, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modeling Save the Children values.
· Holds the team and partners accountable to deliver on their responsibilities - giving them the freedom to deliver in the best way they see fit, providing the necessary development to improve performance and applying appropriate consequences when results are not achieved.
