Behaviour Change Communication Specialist
A growing consultancy firm is seeking Behaviour Change Communication Specialist (BCC Specialist) for anticipate activities funded by international NGO in West Sumatra Province.
The program will focus on capacity building for sustainable sanitation service delivery in 2 cities in West Sumatra Province. Sanitation service deliverry involves behavioural changes and awareness raising,governance, planning and regulation, business development, private sector involvement as well as safe tratment and disposal. BCC Specialist will be responsible for on-the-job support and advisory service as well as technical support on sanitation demand creation and BCC activities in the programme as a whole.
Qualification and experience:
• Degree in communication, development or other relevant social science
• Training and experience in BCC especially in water, sanitation and hygiene,
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in development, preferably in urban setting,
• Practical knowledge and experience with mainstreaming gender and social inclusion
• Have intensive experience working with local government agencies ;
• Good oral and written communication skills in English;
BCC specialist will be based on one of selected town in West Sumatra Province for 24 month full time assignment.
