Consultant for E-Learning Video Content Development

Background
Prevention dan Direct Response are the strategies of the Families First Program (FF) to continue achieving a paradigm shift from residential to family-based care. On prevention, FF developed a positive parenting module and conduct training to parents through PUSPAGA (Family Learning Center) Cadres and PKH (Family Hope Program) field worker. On direct response, FF developed a case management module and conduct training to social worker and field worker UPTD PPA (Women and Child Protection Unit), PKSA (Child Welfare Program), and PKH.

During 2019-2020 (in March), the positive parenting module has been trained to 164 PUSPAGA cadres and PKH Field Workers. 1047 fathers and mothers of PUSPAGA and PKH beneficiaries attended positive parenting that conducted with support from MoWECP and MoSA. The case management training has been conducted to 550 social workers and field worker UPTD PPA, PKSA, and PKH. However, due to the huge number of PUSPAGA cadres, social worker and field worker UPTD PPA, PKSA and PKH, and in-class training only able to provide 20-30 participants per batch.

The case management e-learning and the positive parenting e-learning will develop to reach out to more and more participants to improve PUSPAGA and PKH Field Workers' capacity on parenting and to improve social worker and field worker UPTD PPA, PKSA and PKH capacity on case management.

Objectives of the consultancy
The objective of the consultancy is to produce the mobile-friendly video content and pictures for case management e-Learning and video content for positive parenting e-learning. Copyright of the videos and pictures will be own by Save the Children.

Deliverables:
  • Videos with voice over for each session of case management e-learning (total 5 sessions, video duration 5-8 minutes for each session)
  • Videos with voice over for each session of positive parenting e-learning (total 7 sessions, video duration 5-8 minutes for each session)
  • Video content for case management e-learning and for positive parenting e-learning
  • Pictures for front and session covers for e-learning case management dan positive parenting
  • Required pictures for each session on case management and positive parenting e-learning including for the games.
Scope of Work
The selected consultant agrees to do works as follow:
  • Review existing templates, guidelines, and e-learning scripts.
  • Discuss with the YSTC team to develop a consultancy detailed plan about Video Content of Positive Parenting and Case Management E-Learning.
  • Created the first draft of the video content on positive parenting and case management e-learning (consist of 5 sessions)
  • Facilitating the editing process and finalized the video content of positive parenting and case management e-learning
  • Finalize the videos and pictures on of positive parenting and case management e-learning
Period of the consultancy
This consultancy is a maximum of 30 working days and will be awarded to the partner that offers a proposal that demonstrates the experience to develop the expected deliverables to meet the organization’s needs at a competitive rate and timeline.

Expected consultant:
  • Indonesia nationality
  • At least three years of experience in animated video maker
  • Competent to excellent communication skill, child friendly; understand and applying CSG Policy (child safeguarding) in activities
  • Has experiences on developing relevant materials on case management and parenting
  • Commitment to complete the work and deliver the satisfying deliverables on time
