Oxfam International Job Vacancy: Field Finance Officer, Jakarta

The Role
We are looking for Field Finance Officer with key responsibilities as follows:
  • Overall responsibility to monitor Oxfam’s partners financial systems and control. This includes training and briefings for all Oxfam’s partners staff on procedures and ensuring that financial systems are adhered to by all levels of personnel and comply with the Donor Requirement and Finance & Logistic Procedures for Oxfam’s partners.
  • Support Donor Project Finance Officer (DPFO) in preparing any Donor’s reporting as relevant.
  • Assist the programme during internal/external audit review.
  • Perform other tasks required related to the programme needs with approval from Finance Manager or Humanitarian Operation Lead
  • etc.
What we are looking for This role will require:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance (operations/banking/payment).
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (accounting/finance)
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP, and statutory requirements is preferable
  • Knowledge and experience of restricted donor funds, income and expenditure accounting is preferable.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to details and strong computer literacy, with proven experience of computerized accounting packages, preferably PeopleSoft. Strong proven experience in using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs. Ability to work within minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and excellent numeracy
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to keep clear and concise records.
