Indonesia Programme of ICCO Regional Office South East Asia is looking for a Project Manager
Responsible and Sustainable Business in Indonesia Palm Oil Plantations (RESBOUND) is a three-year project which aims to strengthen village development in palm oil plantation areas. The program uses an inclusive approach by building partnerships between palm oil companies and the village government, in order to accelerate village development focusing on economic and social rights fulfillment. RESBOUND is a program implemented by a consortium of civil society organizations including ICCO, Pusat Kajian dan Perlindungan Anak (PKPA) and PENABULU and now entered the second year of implementation.Responsibility of the Project Manager
- Representing the project to stakeholders.
- Activity and resource planning.
- Organizing and motivating the partners and at least 6 staff members form partner implementation organizations
- Controlling timely delivery of milestones
- Cost estimating, developing the budget, and keeping oversight of the different financial funnels.
- Ensuring donor satisfaction by engaging with the keys persons on a regular basis.
- Analyzing and managing project risk and identifying solutions
- Monitoring progress
- Coordinating and facilitating meetings and events with relevant stakeholders and according to specific methodologist (e.g Lobby & Advocacy tools)
- Communicating about the progress through media
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable about human right and the palm oil sector in Indonesia
- Expertise in working with different organizations (NGO, government, donor, private company, press/journalist, event organizer) and a certain flexibility in the working atmosphere and multi-culture uniqueness
- Expertise in strategic and effective communication with European donors, the Indonesian government (central and provincial), and partners (international organization, a national organization, local university, local peoples, and researchers).
- Commitment, reusable and dedicative upon workload, responsibility, and sense of crises while in balance with creativity for problem-solving.
- High level facilitator and facilitation ability, strong intuition, and easy-going person.
- Extrovert and reciprocal personality across all differentiation
- Ability to perform programmatic support to the ICCO Indonesia program as the lead agency.
- University degree plus professional experience in project management in donor-funded projects
- Female is encouraged to apply, a fast learner and friendly communicative for daily use
- Familiarity with the lobby, advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
