Consultancy Opportunity: Interviewer – Additional Site Assessment

Yayasan Inisiatif Perubahan Akses menuju Sehat (IPAS) Indonesia, is a local foundation works as affiliation of Ipas global so that women and girls have improved sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of safe abortion and contraceptive care as per Indonesia’s Law. Currently, Yayasan IPAS Indonesia is implementing a pilot model for comprehensive post-abortion care (PAC) in 3 selected areas in Java, Indonesia. Aiming to expand the potential direct beneficiaries in accessing the service, the support will be expanded to additional health facilities. Prior to the activity, an assessment is needed to identify the sites’ potential and challenges in implementing the service.

Yayasan IPAS Indonesia is currently seeking 3 interviewer/enumerator for the assessment.

Scope of Work
Under the supervision of R&E Advisor and in close collaboration with District Coordinators, the interviewers will conduct interview to key informants in potential additional sites – each in one selected district.

The interviewers will:
  • Participate in interviewer training conducted by Yayasan IPAS Indonesia in Yogyakarta
  • Conduct interview to key informants in potential additional sites using the developed tools (structured and semi-structured interview) in the assigned district
  • Transcribe the semi-structured interview as guided
  • Submit all data to Yayasan IPAS Indonesia, by the latest 3 days after each interview was completed
  • Working in collaboration with District Coordinator in each respective district (i.e. interview schedule, data submission, etc.)
Deliverables
  • Electronic data submitted through mobile platform
  • Verbatim transcript of the semi-structured interview
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in social science, public health, or related field with 1 – 2 years’ work experience in conducting interview or facilitating discussion
  • Experience with digital platform or mobile based data collection (e.g. ODK, kobotoolbox)
  • Experience with word processing (Word)
  • Well-organized, with ability to track multiple projects and deadlines
  • Based in Yogyakarta, Klaten or Ponorogo
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia
