The International Federation-Country Cluster Support Team (CCST) for Indonesia and Timor Leste is seeking applications from qualified Indonesian citizens for the internship assignment in the National Society Development Unit.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision and management of the National Society Coordination Manager, the intern will be responsible for, but not limited to, the performance of the following duties:
- Process documentation, scoping study as per the given theme.
- With lead from NSD Coordination Manager, supports development of National Society Development of Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL), in the area of Human Resource in Emergency, Youth and Volunteers Development, Response Readiness, Financial Management and Project Management (including PMER) at both HQs and branch level.
- Support in the promotion of integrated approach to support PMI and CVTL National Society Development work from planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program to achieve KPI.
- Vouch and validate all supporting documents to ensure relevancy and reliability of information provided, ensure all expenditures are coded to relevant project, activity and donor and record all transaction into IFRC template.
- Support the NSD and Partnership team for day to day activities, including support in organizing different events when needed and help the office in arranging field visits as requested
- Any other assignment in relation to this internship as directed by the line manager or NSD/Partnership Coordinator
Education
- Minimum in the final academic year of bachelor (or equivalent) or be enrolled in a Master’s degree in social and politic science, communication, humanities or other humanitarian studies.
- Have completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, but not exceeded one-year from date of completion of the degree.
- Good skills in the usage of computer application especially on MS Office.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Indonesia languages.

Please bear in mind the following important facts when submitting your application:
- Interns are not entitled to a salary or benefits from the Federation;
- Federation will provide the intern with a daily allowance which will serve to cover the cost of meals and other related expenses. The amount of that Allowance is IDR 5,250,000 per month;
- Interns are solely responsible for making their own logistical arrangements (visa, travel, accommodation, insurance, etc.) as well as for their cost prior to starting the internship;
- The IFRC accepts no responsibility to provide medical insurance, or for costs arising from accidents and illness incurred during the internship. Interns are required to provide a copy of their health and accident insurance certification;
- Interns are expected to work during normal working hours (maximum 40 hours per week);
- Interns are entitled to 1.5 days of paid leave per month in addition to the public holidays.
