KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work.

KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
  • Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
  • Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
  • Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The role of the Village Data and Information Junior Consultant is to monitor and compile a simple learning analysis of village information system development practices (SID) especially in KOMPAK locations. The SID data will be used as an input for the One Data Policy implementation and expansion of SID practices in the other regions/provinces in collaboration with Directorate DTTP Bappenas and related K/L.

Key Duties
  • Collecting data through field visits and study reports on the implementation of the development of the village information system (SID) KOMPAK and other models, as well as the utilization of the data for village planning and budgeting
  • Submitting a resume of the implementation of SID KOMPAK and various other SID platforms
  • Assisting facilitation cross-KL discussion regarding learning both the implementation of SID and the implementation of the One Data policy
  • Helping to compile cross-KL discussion reports related to data utilization and One Data policy implementation
  • Mapping the implementation of data utilization and Digital Villages according to the priorities of the 2020-2024 RPJMN
  • Assisting in the development of the Long-Term Development Plan (RPJP) document 2025-2045
  • Performing other duties and activities related to the scope of the assignment in accordance with the direction of the Directorate of Disadvantaged Regions, Transmigration and Rural-Bappenas and KOMPAK

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, sociology, anthropology and psychology will be preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with a minimum 5 years in community empowerment
  • Demonstrated experience in public sector study and developing recommendations based on analytical thinking
  • Demonstrated skills in developing work plans and reporting
  • Demonstrated communication and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion issues
