The Role
Oxfam GB is looking for an Operational Programme Manager who can manage and oversee the delivery of our multi-country, multi-partner, multi-million program in South-East Asia.

As an operational program manager, you will provide operational leadership, management oversight and support to Programme Management Unit, as well as working closely with staff in Oxfam country programs and in technical advisory roles contributing to GRAISEA. You will act in direct support to the GRAISEA Team Lead.

You will also need to be able to coordinate across 5 countries, working with Oxfam country teams, technical advisers from across multiple Oxfam Affiliates, and multiple national and regional partners. Demonstrated success in complex project management is needed. You will have to have sound financial skills and significant budget management experience as well as sensitivity to a broad range of women’s rights issues.

What we are looking for
Our next Operational Programme Manager will require someone who is able to ensure the effective management of a large, complex and multi-stakeholder regional program; this includes working in support of strong contract management, effective cross-program communication, strong oversight of program accountability and delivery of key outputs.

The successful postholder will lead to the development of common annual work and budget plans and review processes with countries and partners relating to the program. Lead annual resource planning reviews and the development of a culture that supports adaptive management.

This role will work closely with the OGB Sida donor lead and Programme Finance Manager to produce periodic reports to Sida incorporating financial and narrative information.

Through MCPs, we work with country programs to pilot and bring to scale new program strategies in a combination of different interventions which leverages experience and innovation from across the confederation and the broader sector, enables learning across different contexts and to share that learning more widely, and bring evidence to influence policy and practice at a regional and global level.
