The Role
We are looking for Donor and Partnership Finance Officer with key responsibilities as follow
- Overall responsibility to monitor Oxfam’s partners financial systems and control. This includes training and briefings for all Oxfam’s partners staff on procedures and ensuring that financial systems are adhered to by all levels of personnel and comply with the Donor Requirement and Finance & Logistic Procedures for Oxfam’s partners.
- To collate financial information from partner organizations and conduct effective reviews of transaction details from Oxfam expenditure in purpose to produce monthly financial reports (budget vs actual report) in the relevant donor formats.
- To produce donor financial reports by using Oxfam International tools and or external template as required by donor with high quality and timely reports.
This position will require:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance (operations/banking/payment).
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (accounting/finance)
- Knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP, and statutory requirements is preferable
- Knowledge and experience of restricted donor funds, income and expenditure accounting is preferable.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to details and strong computer literacy, with proven experience of computerized accounting packages, preferably PeopleSoft. Strong proven experience in using Excel spreadsheets.
- Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs. Ability to work within minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and excellent numeracy
- Good written and spoken English.
