Yayasan Fondasi Hidup (FH Indonesia) is an independent non-governmental organization based in Medan, North Sumatera and operates in North Sumatera Province, the Mentawai Islands, West Sumatera Province, and Palu, Centre of Sulawesi Province. FH Indonesia started working in Indonesia after the December 2004 tsunami killed 283,000 people. FH Indonesia worked with devastated communities to help them rebuild their lives and homes. In 2011, FH began a long-term development work and currently we are working to address all forms of human poverty, visible and invisible through livelihood, education, health, and disaster risk reduction sectors.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
Position: Liaison Officer – 1 (One) Position
Job Code: LO - JSER
Report to: Relief Project Manager
Salary Range: IDR 5,000,000 – IDR 6,500,000
Position Purpose
The Liaison Officer (LO) serves FH by managing and communicating data and information pertaining to the grants for partner projects of Jakomkris Sulawesi Emergency Response (JSER). This includes coordinating all partner proposals, donor reporting, and project knowledge management systems, support corporate learning, and tracking progress of the results and deliverables as envisaged.
Responsibilities:
Key Result #1: Coordination and Communication
- Responsible for data and information management related to grants and project implementation, and assisting the FH Project Relief Manager in informed decision making process;
- Ensure efficient receipt and dissemination of information arriving into the program, and actively seek information on relevant issues.
- Coordinate and lead regular meeting between FH and partner to share progress and challenges
- Be part of virtual or face to face meetings/workshops related to JSER Program
- Network with other INGOs and National NGOs for coordination purpose and learning best practices from others;
- Coordinate and oversee partner/donor/visitors’ field visit to facilitate their understanding and appreciation of the work on the ground.
- Conduct monitoring visits to project locations and provide capacity building and training for partner staff on reporting and donor compliance issues, also shared learning from monitoring and evaluation;
- Ensure program compliance to Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), implementation principles and guidelines;
- Ensure and coordinate that all reporting/response to queries/communication to donor are submitted on a timely basis.
- Under direction from FH Project Relief Manager, ensure timely reporting by working closely with Project Partners and donors;
- Coordinate all internal reporting and responses to requests for information fromProject Partner;
- Consolidating all the internal report for donor report by working closely with project partners.
Organisational Requirements:

- Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time per year in the country and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.
- At least Bachelor degree or equivalent level of knowledge in the field of communication, public relation for other related back ground.
- At least 3 years experience in communication and coordination with various stakeholders
- Experience in organizing capacity building activity, events
- Familiar with monitoring and evaluation process
- Experience of working in partnership with local NGOs
- Excellent English language, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative capacity
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations
- Problem solving skills
