Position Summary
Search for Common Ground (Indonesia) is looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant who will work under the supervision of the Finance Officer and in collaboration with Administration & HR Manager to ensure our financial and administration management and reporting is running well in a timely manner to comply with all donor requirements and Search standards, for Indonesia, based in Jakarta. This position is an approximately four (4) months, starting from mid August 2019 to December 2019.

SFCG has been working in Indonesia since 2002. As a diverse country, Indonesia has the challenge of managing peace and tolerance within the community. SFCG with the local partner support the process of building peace culture through media, dialogue, outreach, and capacity strengthening.
SFCG-Indonesia works primarily with community-based organizations, students, youth, governmental bodies, religious leaders and groups, and general community in Indonesia to promote peace and tolerance to end violent conflict in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of Finance Officer, the Temporary Finance Assistance will:
- Provide day to day financial administrative support;
- Ensure the completeness of administrational supporting documents of all financial transaction for audit purposes;
- Review and provide input for all kind of contracts, initiate and fulfill payments, and assume responsibility for creditors;
- Assist in maintaining and updating administration in financial filing system (hardcopy and softcopy) as per guidance of Finance Officer;
- Ensure timely reconciliation of advances, and settlements;
- Ensure accurate and efficient management of softcopy files and records of administrational and financial supporting documents.
- Assist Finance Manager in preparing final finance report
Qualification:
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (MS Office and Excel).
- Demonstrated experience in administration, especially in support function of large scale of international organization.
- Proven track record of administration management system and procedures.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and working skills, enjoys a multicultural work environment.
