Yayasan Puspadi Bali is seeking for:

Staff Prosthetics and Orthotics 

Based in: Puspadi Bali P&O workshop in Denpasar, Bali

Responsibilities:

1. Interview, examine, measure and casting clients to determine their appliance needs and to identify factors that could affect appliance fit.
2. Design orthopedic and prosthetic devices, based on physicians' prescriptions and examination and measurement of clients.
3. Select materials and components to be used, based on device design
4. Make and modify plaster casts of areas that will be fitted with prostheses or orthoses, for use in the device construction process.
5. Construct and fabricate appliances or supervise others constructing the appliances.
6. Fit, test, and evaluate devices on clients, and make adjustments for proper fit, function, and comfort.
7. Providing goal and gait trainings to clients especially those needing for prosthetics
8. Instruct clients in the use and care of orthoses and prostheses.
9. Maintain clients' records.
10. Train and supervise support staff, such as orthopedic and prosthetic interns
11. Update skills and knowledge by doing research and attending conferences and seminars to maintain medical or professional knowledge

Requirements:

1. Bachelor/University degree of Prosthetics and Orthotics with IPK min. 3.0
2. Experience handling client
3. Good English proficiency both writing and speaking
4. Excellent communicator and team player
5. Target and service oriented
6. Domicile in Bali or willing to stay in Bali for longer period
7. Highly independent
8. Willing to occasionally work overtime and travel around Bali and to other areas outside Bali for delivering services to clients.
