Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As ‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership.
We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
SUMBA FINANCE ASSISTANT
1 (one) position based in Waikabubak – NTT
ROLE PURPOSE:
Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik is implementing a comprehensive education program in Sumba, NTT Province over the next several years. The post holder has overall responsibility for performing the administration activity and logistical management and support related to program implementation and operations in Sumba.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Finance Officer
Dimensions: The post holder will be responsible for financial, administration management and will ensure appropriate, accurate and timely recording of transactions and implementation systematic filing and retrieval system of documents to ensure Sumba based-project is run smoothly and meet project goals.

Budget responsibilities: N/A
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Management, Administration or other relevant field.
- Two years experiences in financial and administrative management.
- Experience in financial, accounting or administration in a project.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Have a good attitude and easy to coordination with other staff.
