WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Marine Mammals Specialist. This position will be based in Denpasar, Bali and report to Marine Species Coordinator.
The job holder will develop policy-based research, and provide a model and / or conservation expertise for type conservation projects / programs and sustainable use in accordance with WWF-ID conservation strategy, in order to contribute to the objectives of projects or programs to support marine conservation in Marine Protected Areas (MPA) that has a conservation target specific species of Marine Mammals.
Requirements for this Position are:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Veterinarian, Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Oceanography, or Marine Science or relevant major.
- Minimum 2 years experience of research monitoring and / or handling of marine mammals especially with domestic and foreign research institutions.
