Save the Children Job Vacancy: Emergency Admin Assistant Palu Response - Jakarta

Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As ‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

EMERGENCY ADMIN ASSISTANT PALU RESPONSE - JAKARTA CO

ROLE PURPOSE:
  • Emergency Admin Assistant  is participating in managing  admin  and logistics process especially on  accommodation booking, Travel and  Transport arrangement, Office supplies and facilities  and other  functional  work as admin and logistic assistant and other  procurement  work  under  guidance and direction    by Logistics Coordinator.
  • Managing asset  with  Admin and  Logistics Officer
  • Assist Admin and Logistics Officer in  her / his daily  routine  work
               
SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Logistic Coordinator

Staff directly reporting to this post: None

Other Reporting and Coordination Responsibilities:
Emergency Admin Assistant  would be collaborating  with Admin and Logistics Officer and Procurement  Officer in  maintain  routine  logistics work and as solid teamwork

Budget Responsibilities: None

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum S1 degree or equivalent 
  • Ability to plan and organize a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities in both development and emergency contexts 
  • Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies 
  • Demonstrated credibility with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to supervise Admin & log asst and motivate with strong personal value systems
  • Analytical, decision making and strategic planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to coach, mentor, delegate appropriately and provide developmental guidance to supervised staff and know office needs.
