EFSVL and CPFC
- Hold Bachelor Degree in any discipline relating to Food Security and Cash Based programming
- Min 5 years experience in cash based programming and emergency relief programs.
- Have a good understanding of the needs of poor rural and urban communities and of appropriate ways of tackling them.
- Ability & working experience in complex insecure context.
- Partnership, Team and project management experience, include budget management
- Willingness to travel at short notice, and often in difficult circumstances.
EFSVL and CPFO
- Min 3 years experience in cash based programming and emergency relief programs.
- Have a good understanding of the needs of poor rural and urban communities and of appropriate ways of tackling them.
- Ability & working experience in complex insecure context.
- Partnership, Team and project management experience, include budget management
- Willingness to travel at short notice, and often in difficult circumstances.
- Significant prior NGO experience in logistics management, within a complex/large scale country program and in emergency response/humanitarian environments.
- Substantial experience in all technical areas of logistics operations including procurement, transport/distribution, warehousing and stock management, fleet management, asset management, and communication.
- Ability to develop/implement a complex international supply chain to support different types of programs, and coordinating resources to meet the program objectives.
- Experience with working in remote field bases with limited infrastructure.
- Proven track-record in managing and supervising others in logistics, including training and capacity building.
- Experience of advising and supporting others at all levels with logistics aspects of a program, including strategic thinking and planning.
- Technical experience/training in specific areas of logistics (i.e. fleet mechanics, IT/communications networks).
- Technical experience/knowledge in specific types of humanitarian intervention (i.e. Health, WASH, Food Security).
- Experience in similar positions in emergency responses;
- High computer literacy, including web design, use of social media, photoshop and other graphic software;
- Highly developed strategic planning skills with ability to contribute to program overall strategies.
- Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a cross-cultural setting, fast-paced and difficult emergency context.
EFSVL and Cash Programming Coordinator
- Provide initial assessment/ and an analysis of on the feasibility and appropriateness of cash programming in the Response areas of operation, including cash-for-work, unconditional cash transfer and other options.
- Provide technical sector teams with market-based options, including both cash and vouchers, for program implementation, with technical details on methodologies and tools;
- Assess financial service provider options and make recommendations for appropriate delivery mechanisms, working closely with Finance and
- Logistics teams in contracting as needed.
- In collaboration with local partners, support the design and implementation of livelihood and cash-based programming across all sectors and coordinate response options across teams to ensure alignment between
- EFSVL, WASH and Protection activities, and where feasible and appropriate design and lead a MPCA response.
- Actively support the coordination of cash via cash working groups, clusters etc.
- Integrate gender and community analysis into all stages of a potential livelihood response, assessments, response analysis, program design, implementation, monitoring and closure/ evaluation (global humanitarian tools will provide tools and guidance).
- Support the set-up of strong MEAL components in all CTP programmes.

- stakeholders as required through hand on mentoring and accompaniment to
- engage on CTP and markets-based programming activities
- Participate in programme assessments, planning and design.
- Supervise, manage and coordinate all Supply & Logistics related activities from the technical and management point of view in a professional manner. (procurement, warehousing, asset management, transport & distribution, fleet management, import and export procedures).
- Contribute to proposal writing and programme planning including preparation of budgets, and compliance with donor procedures & policies.
- Develop an understanding of women’s rights and gender analysis and how to make supporting these a reality in logistics work.
- Creating or introducing systems and processes for gathering and sharing critical information to support program management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Finding sources of prior knowledge from the country or sector to share with new teams.
- Turning data into useable products – sit-reps, beneficiary tables, maps, infographics, reports.
- Advising PMs on the knowledge and information needs of response teams to improve the quality of a scale-up, with practical ideas for improving organizational development in an environment of rapid change.
- Work with all technical and support teams, being a focal point for advice and practical support regarding knowledge management and learning
- Supporting MEAL and RTE teams with how lessons are communicated.
- Update corporate system (COMPASS, Box, Workplace) with information material.
