Wahana Visi Indonesia Job Openings: 9 Positions to be Based in Palu - Central Sulawesi

Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following position which located in Palu:


Security Coordinator

Major Roles:
Lead in the optimization of organizational security and the mitigation of operational risks for ministry effectiveness by establishing security systems and mechanisms for institutionalizing an organizational culture and practice of safety and security.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience in humanitarian security management
  • Minimum (2) years’ experience working with UN Agency / NGO plus field security experience.
  • Police/Law Enforcement Training and experience is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Ability to build network with security apparatus 
  • Ability to communicate well in English and Indonesian (verbal and written) – particularly in a crisis situation. 
  • Hold valid driver license
Security  Officer

Major Roles:
To support the Response Security Coordinator as well as the Field Security Officer in planning and managing security during distribution process conducted through CENTRE in Palu, Sigi, Donggala and Parimo district.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Police/Law Enforcement/Security Training and experience is an advantage 
  • At least two (1) years’ experience in a proven security field (public, private, and government, UN or NGO sectors). 
  • Ability to communicate in Indonesian and English  (passive verbal and written) 
  • Hold valid driver license
Design Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Major Roles:
To support CENTRE (Central Sulawesi Earthquake and Tsunami Emergency Response) projects in implementing DME task including good quality monitoring and reporting, that is well-documented meets donor/partnership standards (DME/LEAP) and is used for accountability, improved management decisions, and organizational learning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Statistic education background is preferable
  • Min. 1 years of experience in development program
  • Minimum 2 years of experienced in Design, Monitoring and Evaluation  (DME) task
  • Understand, able  and in advance using statistics methods and software
  • Good communication, analytical and interpersonal relationship skills
Program Officer

Major Roles:
The program officer is responsible for developing and maintaining key program information including context analysis, needs assessment, as well as project design and proposals.

Qualifications:
  • A degree or equivalent in relevant fields of study such as International Development, Political Science/International Relations, Economics, Sociology, or other related field. 
  • Demonstrate strong experience in project management and proposal writing 
  • Deep understanding in humanitarian Field especially in emergency response 
  • TOEFL 500
Cash Based Specialist

Major Roles:
Develop, plan and implement Cash and Market Based Programming in emergency context

Qualifications:
  • A Degree in Disaster management, Finance / Accounting / Payments, International Development, Social Works, Management, or relevant degree
  • At least 3 years experience working in  in cash-based programming
  • Deep understanding in humanitarian Field especially in emergency response
WASH  CLUSTER COORDINATOR:

Major Roles:
  • Lead appropriate coordination with all humanitarian partners through cluster coordination mechanisms, 
  • Responsible for promoting and adopting standardized methods, tools and formats for common use in WASH needs assessments.
  • Implement monitoring systems to review impact of WASH Cluster activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, international relations, peace and conflict studies, or other related technical field.  Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience with international humanitarian organizations. Experience in emergency response and conflict areas an advantage.
  • Experience and knowledge of humanitarian coordination mechanisms
  • Experience in project management/coordination and information management
  • Good knowledge of WASH related technical guidelines and standards, including Sphere.
WASTE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

Major Roles:
The Waste Management Coordinator will provide effective leadership in all activities and projects that relate to Strategic Waste Management,

Qualification:
  • Post graduate qualification preferably in the environmental and engineering field
  • Proven experience working within the waste and environment industry with demonstrated capacity to work productively
Warehouse & WASH Distribution Coordinator

Major Roles:
Coordinate all warehouse operations, including such areas as receiving, warehousing, shipping, material distribution, pickup and delivery services, inventory and reports.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor degree
  • Computer skills 
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy work.
HYGIENE PROMOTION COORDINATOR

Major Roles:
Responsible  for hygiene promotion activities in community.

Qualification:
  • Post graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Behaviour Change Communication or Health Communication or WASH would be an asset
  • A minimum of five (3) years’ experience in related fields in a competitive environment, with experience in a senior position providing technical leadership
