an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global
network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for
the position of Community Outreach and Communication Officer. This position will be based in Ujung Kulon, Banten and report directly to Project Site Manager.
The job holder will run communication and outreach strategies, process and review communication that has been carried out to support
the Rhino Conservation Project with disseminate information about
results and best practices or the relationship between policy and
practice, with the aim of changing public opinion, especially the
communities in the buffer zone of Ujung Kulon National Park and
related stakeholders, to finally support and be actively involved in
achieving the target WWF-Indonesia Project in Ujung Kulon National
Park in order to ensure the implementation and/or project requirements
can be met within the specified time.
Requirements for this Position are:
- At least Bachelor Degree in Communication, International Relation, Social science or relevant.
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in outreach, communication, public relations. The candidate must have an extensive network with NGOs that works in community, media, or relevant agency; also having good track record of success in developing and delivering communication strategies based on best available knowledge.
